This is an on-demand recording of our webinar on hot topics in herbal medicines and botanical supplements, including an update on what is happening in the UK and EU. The webinar will present a review of current issues confidentially being discussed in the EU (Article 8 of EC Reg. 1925/2006) and will give some updates on other hot topics including ashwagandha, pyrrolizidine alkaloids, tropane alkaloids and caffeine. This webinar is hosted by Dr Chris Etheridge, Chair of the British Herbal Medicine Association (BHMA), Chair of the BHMA’s Herbal Practitioner Supplier Section, president of the College of Practitioners of Phytotherapy (CPP) and president of the European Herbal Traditional Medicines Practitioners Association (EHTPA).
