This is an on-demand recording of the Decades of Decline: Health and Wellbeing Impacts of Falling Nutrient Intakes webinar. Recorded in November 2024, all information is correct at the time of recording. The purpose of this video is to support your learning in this area; the content does not constitute advice.

This webinar follows the launch of the Health and Food Supplements Information Service (HSIS) report on the Decades of Decline:
Health and Wellbeing Impacts of Falling Nutrient Intakes. This report follows the publication of a peer-reviewed journal paper, authored by HSIS experts, and explores the latest dietary data and trends, highlights the challenges which are preventing both children and adults from achieving adequate nutrient intakes and looks at the implications of these shortfalls for health outcomes.

In this webinar, researcher and nutritionist, and one of the report’s authors, Dr Pamela Mason, presents the key findings from the paper and report, discussing how this impacts self-care and what insights our members can take away from this.
