This week, PAGB’s senior management team have travelled to Brussels to join the Association of the European Self-Care Industry (AESGP) at their Annual Meeting, which marks their 60th anniversary as the voice of the European self-care industry.
The Annual Meeting brings together experts, policymakers, stakeholders and AESGP’s members to reflect on the organisation’s milestones, and to chart the way forward for the future of self-care, taking into account new trends and perspectives affecting the industry and beyond. The PAGB team have been attending thought-leadership sessions and technical workshops to delve into important topics for the self-care sector, including transformations in health and social care, regulatory systems, sustainable packaging and AI in healthcare.
A celebratory 60th anniversary self-care gala was also held for attendees to hear all of the great work and steps that have been undertaken in the past 60 years and it was great for the PAGB team to meet and connect with many of our colleagues and members from across the EU.
Michelle Riddalls, PAGB’s CEO, sits on the AESGP Board as a member representative to support the strategic leadership and management of the association. The AESGP Board met at the event on Wednesday to discuss current political issues and management, which included updates on ongoing work around ingredients management, medical devices regulation, and European pharmaceutical legislation.
