We are pleased to announce the launch of a new piece of guidance from the advertising team on vegan claims for OTC medicines. Due to the absence of a ruling on vegan claims, the guidance elaborates on PAGB’s stance. We outline why vegan claims can be contentious for medicines and traditional herbal remedies, as well as our recommended wording. The guidance also sheds light on evidence deemed suitable to support such claims.
