This document serves to provide guidance for companies producing software applications (apps), so they are clearer when their application qualifies as advertising, educational or medical device software and provides some illustrative examples. It also includes a short section on other considerations when creating apps. This guidance is aimed at regulatory professionals however it may be useful to all company employees and third parties involved in developing software applications.
